Dr. Collin Burns
Dr. Burns is passionate about creating positive dental experiences for children and helping families build lifelong healthy habits. Growing up with a mom who was a schoolteacher and a dad who was an engineer, he found that pediatric dentistry was the perfect blend of his upbringing—combining a love for working with children with a scientific, problem-solving approach to care.
Dr. Burns is dedicated to delivering the highest quality dentistry through ongoing education and the use of advanced technology. He proudly uses the Solea laser system, which offers a comfortable, shot-free dental experience—just one of the many ways he ensures gentle, modern care. His passion for education extends beyond his practice; he has lectured at UT Dallas, Texas A&M, Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Hospital, and the Texas A&M Pediatric Dental Residency Program.
Outside the office, Dr. Burns is known for his sense of humor and love of dad jokes. When he’s not caring for patients or cracking jokes, he enjoys spending time with his family. His wife grew up in Rockwall, and together they’re happy to be back in the community. You’ll often find Dr. Burns at church, swimming, cooking, grilling, or building LEGO creations with his son—many of which are proudly displayed around the office!
Dr. Burns’ philosophy is simple: he recommends the same care for every patient that he would for his own child. He truly believes that “Teamwork makes the dream work,” and that spirit defines everything at Happy Harbor Pediatric Dentistry. His goal is to help each child feel safe, comfortable, and confident at the dentist—laying the foundation for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dental Patient Coordinator
With six years of experience navigating the seas of dentistry, Calli is the friendly first mate who helps every patient sail smoothly through their dental visit. From answering the phones and charting new voyages (a.k.a. checking patients in) to verifying insurance and collecting treasure (payments), she keeps the ship running steady and smiles on every deck.
When she’s off-duty from the harbor, Calli enjoys anchoring down with her husband and their three furry shipmates, June, Cash, and Merle. She loves charting new courses through travel adventures, decorating her home port, and scouting out new shopping destinations. On the weekends, you’ll often find her cruising on the Harley with her crew, Starbies in hand, chasing the horizon one wave and one latte at a time.

Anchored by 15 years of experience in pediatric dentistry, I proudly wear many hats, but my true north is always the patient experience. From the first hello to the final smile, I strive to make every visit feel like smooth sailing, calm, cared for, and confidently navigated.
When I’m off duty and away from the harbor, you’ll find me charting a sweeter course with my husband and our daughters. I love traveling, shopping, and spending time with family. Most weekends, you’ll find us docked at the soccer field, where I trade scrubs for sideline seats, energy drink in hand, cheering loudly, soaking in the moments, and enjoying every mile of this beautiful journey.
Ingrid
Dental Patient Coordinator
Ingrid has been sailing the dental seas since October 2022 and has been helping families navigate smooth sailing ever since! As one of the first friendly faces you’ll meet at Happy Harbor, she’s passionate about creating a welcoming, stress-free experience—from your first “hello” to scheduling your child’s next visit with ease.
With a heart for helping others and a calm, organized approach, Ingrid ensures every family feels cared for and confident throughout their journey at our office.
When she’s off the clock, Ingrid enjoys anchoring down with her husband and kids, making special memories together. In her free time, you can find her watching movies, traveling to new destinations, shopping, or simply relaxing and recharging for her next adventure.
Savannah
Dental Assistant
Anchored in compassion and guided by a heart for helping others, Savannah sails through each day at the dental harbor with a mission to help young patients conquer their fear of the dentist and set sail with bright, confident smiles. With a gentle hand and a calm, cheerful spirit, she ensures every child’s visit is a smooth voyage and a positive dental experience from start to finish.
When she’s not charting smiles, Savannah loves coloring, spending quality time with her son and family, and embarking on adventures that take her beyond the horizon, whether it’s traveling, shopping, or cruising by Sonic for her favorite drink. Her sunny outlook and caring nature make her a true first mate in the journey to happy, healthy smiles!
Rylie
Dental Assistant
Rylie has been sailing the dental seas for 6 years and brings fun, comfort, and smiles to every visit! As a Dental Assistant, she loves helping kiddos feel relaxed, brave, and even excited to hop in the chair. With her gentle approach and upbeat energy, she helps make each appointment smooth sailing from start to finish!
When she’s off the ship, Rylie is busy running her photography business, capturing special moments for families. Her favorite adventures, though, are with her husband and two girls—whether they’re heading to the park or grilling at home while the girls play in the backyard.
